This tiny institution offers rotating exhibitions that fill its three small galleries. Past exhibits have included quilts made from military fabrics by 19th-century soldiers, fashion in folk art, and American posthumous portraiture. The gift shop is a trove of unique, artsy items: books, jewelry, accessories, scarves, home decor etc. There's free music on Wednesdays (at 2pm) and Fridays (5:30pm).

During the months of November and December, the museum opens on Mondays from 11:30am to 7pm.
