Churchill County Museum & Archives

Northern Nevada

Besides the usual pioneer relics, this museum and local county archives also displays an interesting replica of a Paiute hut and sponsors twice-monthly guided tours ($1) of Hidden Cave. The cave is near Grimes Point Archaeological Area, about 10 miles east of Fallon, where a marked trail leads past boulders covered by Native American petroglyphs.
