Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens

Caribbean Gardens is an Old Florida attraction that's been updated into an excellent small zoo. It has narrated boat rides in a lake to visit free-roaming, island-bound monkeys, giraffe, lions and a Malayan tiger, but the main reason to come here is the chance to see Athena, a rescued Florida panther, a species that is devilishly difficult to see in the wild. Black bears, alligators, coyotes and the Burmese python are among the Florida residents; last tickets sold at 4pm.

Take the time to learn about the conservation programs the zoo supports across the globe – this is one area where Naples Zoo really punches above its weight.
