Mandalay Bay

Casino in The Strip

Since opening in 1999, in place of the former '50s-era Hacienda, Mandalay Bay has anchored the southern Strip. Its theme may be tropical, but it sure ain't tacky, nor is its 135,000-sq-ft casino. Well-dressed sports fans find their way to the upscale race and sports book near the high-stakes poker room. Refusing to be pigeonholed, the Bay's standout attractions include the multilevel Shark Reef Aquarium, decadent day spas, oodles of signature dining and the unrivaled Mandalay Bay Beach.

Not to be outdone by Vegas' recent trend of having a hotel within a hotel, Mandalay Bay has not one, but two of Las Vegas' finest properties within its bounds: Delano and Four Seasons.
