Monument with Standing Beast

Chicago

French sculptor Jean Dubuffet created this piece, which some call 'Snoopy in a Blender.' The 1984 white fiberglass work looks a little like inflated puzzle pieces and has a definite Keith Haring–esque feel to it. As you can see by the large number of kids crawling around inside, it's a hands-on piece of art.
