Bagdad Cafe

The Deserts

This grizzled cafe was the main filming location of Percy Adlon's eponymous 1987 classic cult flick starring CCH Pounder and Jack Palance. The interior is chockablock with posters, movie stills and memorabilia while outside the old water tower and Airstream trailer are slowly rusting away. There's food but don't bother.

It's especially popular with Germans where the movie was a big hit.
