Aquarium

Brace yourself as huge sharks approach the thick glass panes, and marvel at otherworldly jellyfish. Highlights of this excellent aquarium include the deep-ocean and coral-reef exhibits, a 12m-long skeleton of an endangered North Atlantic right whale, and the long tunnel through the oceanarium tank, where creatures of the deep swim all around you. Also here is a maritime museum section. Allow at least 1½ hours for a visit.
