A pilgrimage site for football fans from around the world, Camp Nou is a must for FC Barcelona fans. The stadium, built in 1957 and enlarged for the 1982 World Cup, is one of the world’s biggest; once current renovations wrap up, it will have a capacity of 106,000 (there are 104,000 members). Visits begin in FC Barcelona's high-tech museum, where enormous touch-screens allow visitors to explore arcane aspects of the legendary team. You can also watch videos of particularly artful goals. Sound installations include the club's anthem (with translations in many languages) and the match-day roar of the amped-up crowds. You can admire the golden boots (in at least one case literally) of great goal scorers of the past and learn about the greats who have played for the club over the years, including Maradona, Ronaldinho, Kubala and Lionel Messi.
