Plaza de Recreo de Barranquitas

Barranquitas’ pretty central square is hemmed with cast-iron railings and guarded by the Parroquia de San Antonio de Padua. The centerpiece of the plaza is a decorative cast-iron gazebo adorned with distinctive art-nouveau flourishes, surrounded by four classical fountains. Locals hang out here in the evenings and it's a nice spot for a bench picnic.
