Xiringuito Escribà

The family team behind Escribà, which has been making sweets since 1906, is also in charge of one of Barcelona's unmissable waterfront seafood-and-rice restaurants, beside Platja del Bogatell. A whirl of busy staff and bubbling paellas, this is one of the few places in town that does one-person paella or Catalan fideuà, as well as delicious vegetarian-friendly options.
