This striking labyrinth of whimsically eroded rocks and boulders extends roughly from Indian Cove in the north to Hidden Valley on Park Blvd and is predictably a popular rock climbers' haunt. For a quick but satisfying impression, saunter along the 0.6-mile Indian Cove Trail or the 1-mile Hidden Valley Trail.
The 8-mile (one-way) Boy Scout Trail presents a greater challenge and should not be attempted in hot weather.
