Rock hounds love Indian Cove's hulking caramel-colored formations, while birders are drawn by feathered friends hiding out among the yuccas and shrubs along the half-mile Indian Cove nature trail. Access is via Indian Cove Rd off Hwy 62 between Joshua Tree and Twentynine Palms. There's also a campground with over 100 sites for tenters and RVs.
