Raised around 10m above street level, these are the grounds of 16th-century Villa Aldobrandini, built to house the extensive art collection of Cardinal Pietro Aldobrandini. The graceful, sculpture-dotted garden invites you to lounge on benches beneath fragrant orange trees, palms and camellias. Only the grounds were open at the time of research, but works have commenced to reopen the Renaissance building.
