Thansila

Thansila is a fun, homely spot with artsy flair, close to the hot springs on the southeast edge of town. The best digs are exposed-stone, lodge-style rooms overlooking the river, with grotto-like hot-water bathrooms and wooden mirrors. It's owned by a Thai architect who renovated the place over two years. The cheapest rooms are fan-only.
