The central-Barcelona outpost of Montjuïc's Museu Etnològic opens through a grand courtyard overlooked by an 18th-century staircase within the restored medieval Palau Nadal and Palau Marquès de Llió. Over 500 artifacts travel through the ancient cultures of Africa, Asia, the Americas and Oceania, with displays ranging from Andean weaving to Ethiopian religious art.
