The International Table Tennis Museum was originally located in Switzerland and moved to Shanghai in 2018. In addition to comprehensive coverage of the history of the game, it details table tennis' particular success in China. There are plenty of interactive displays, old memorabilia and exhibits, as well as a virtual reality room.
This is a good museum to pop into if you’re visiting the World Expo Museum next door.
