This lone coral outcrop in the middle of the sea, at a depth of about 19m to 24m, acts as an important feeding station for large pelagic fish; you might spot a few leopard sharks, groupers, barracudas, moray eels, tuna and occasional whale sharks and manta rays. It's named for its purple coral.
