Haviland's pocelain showroom includes a fascinating little museum following its history since 1842, including reflections on the firm's $6000 delivery of a 1000-piece dinner service to the White House of US president Rutherford Hayes in 1879. Also notice the moustache-guard teacup, and celebrity plates with designs by Kandinsky, Dalí and Jean Cocteau.
It's 3km south of central Limoges, beside the rue de Toulouse at the rue Stuart Mill intersection. If driving, take exit 36 (ZI Ponteix) off the A20.
