The stunning Fethiye (‘Conquest’) Mosque, on the waterfront near the eastern side of the port, was built in 1499, shortly after the Ottoman Sultan Beyazid II captured Nafpaktos from the Venetians. It’s only open for occasional temporary exhibitions.
