Dating from the 9th century (according to the oldest written sources) but with 6th-century foundations, this small stone basilica located on a hill 3km from town is the oldest intact church in Serbia. Inside, remnants of frescoes cling to the ancient archways; there's a fascinating, photogenic cemetery outside that dates from the 19th century. If it's locked, phone or ask at the nearby house to be let in.
