Mostly 17th century in design, this regal palace of a château is set in beautifully manicured formal gardens and parkland 30km north of Montignac, 28km east of Sorges. Visits include a contextualising video, there's a set of quiz-style activity sheets for kids and a changing roster of events and exhibitions.
