Following a morning pickup at your hotel in Bergen or the cruise port, take a seat in your private vehicle at 8:30 am and head towards Dale and Voss to begin your 11-hour tour. Along the way, stop at the Tvindefossen waterfall and capture the scenery on camera. Visit the Stalheim Hotel with your guide and enjoy fine views over the UNESCO–listed Nærøydalen Valley from the terrace. Then, follow the winding road through the valley to the ancient village of Gudvangen — nestled at the end of the Nærøyfjord. You head out on the road towards the city of Voss and the wonders of the scenic route and landscape you drive through. You will stop at the Voss Church from 1277, and also the beautiful Tvindefossen waterfall for those awsome pictures. After Voss you make your way towards the Stalheim area, and all of a sudden the views of the Næroy Valley unveils as you take the steepest road in Europe down the Stalheimskleiva. Here you will be able to walk down and you simply must bring your camera. This is some of the most stunning scenery in the world and you will understand why it was chosen by UNESCO for the World Heritage List. Back in the car at the bottom of the Stalheimskleiva, you can choose to take a cruise out the extraordinary Naeroyfjord (own expense - not included in trip) and have your guide await you at the quay in the beautiful village of Flaam. Most guests choose this option as the Naeroyfjord is not possible to travel by car. For those who dont want to take the cruise, we visit the beautiful village of Bakka and thereafter Undredal. In Flaam you are able to enjoy about an hour of lunch - and you are free to choose from any of the restaurants you might like. You guide is always unbiased - and will only make recommendations if you ask. After your lunch you will visit the viewpoint and platform at Stegastein, where the fjords unveil in all its drama. You are brought from the fjord to almost 2300 feet (700 metres) - where the Norwegian engineers have built a unique wooden platform out from the cliffs. The architecture is a stunning and bold contribution to the landscape you are in. Back at Flaam you are able to take one of the world's most beautiful train rides with the Flaamsbana Railway. (Own expense - not included) from the fjord to the highest peaks of the summits. Flaamsbana is widely recognized for its one of a kind experiences as it climbs from sea level to 3000 feet above sea level. At Myrdal station you will change train and your guide will be at the station in Voss to pick you up. Day 1This tour starts directly from your own hotel in Bergen and your guide will pick you up here and bring you down to the harbour. Here you will board the Costal Express boat that brings you via the amazing Alverstraumen where the tidal currents flows like a river. Further on you will see what the coast is all about as you navigate through the landscape. Small farms, cottages, cabins and seahouses are drenched like small stars in the nature. And first part of this day is crossing the fjord by ferry.  You make your way via Sogndal and Kaupanger - and are again crossing a part of the Fjord in Lærdal. Here you drive through yet another magnificent piece of Norwegian engineering. One of the longest road tunnels in the world. The Lærdal tunnel is 25 kilometers long and have tree enormous caves inside that are illuminated like you would expect Valhalla to be. Inspired by folklore tales of Trolls and Giants. As you come out in broad daylight again you arrive in Aurland, home to the "King of the Fjords" - The UNESCO World Heritage Site: Nærøyfjorden. And here you are able to make some choises of your own. 1. Take a fjordcruise on the Næøyfjord surrounded by its mountains raging up to 1800 metres above the fjord. 2. Take the Flåmsbana Railway from Flåm to Myrdal, and continue towards Oslo 3.
