Khentii Aimag Museum

Mongolia

The small Aimag Museum features a mastodon tusk, a protoceratops skull, Chinggis Khaan–era armour and an array of stuffed local wildlife. In the central park across the road, you'll find statues of famous local wrestlers (and their prominent buttocks) – a popular photo stop for locals.

The museum's future is in doubt, given low amounts of funding and visitors.
