This creaky church is one of Pátzcuaro's oldest and is built on the site of a former hospital in the 16th century. Until the early 1900s, it housed the revered statue of Nuestra Señora de la Salud, which now takes pride of place in the basilica nearby. Note the wonderful wooden tile floor and the majestic baroque altar.
