Great Market Square

The square is overlooked by a particularly photogenic trio of 17th-century merchants' houses as well as the impressive town hall with a rococo sun dial in the courtyard and the Evangelical Reformed Church. Sitting in the square is a monument depicting a massive chest that symbolises the treasury of Grand Duchy of Lithuania, guarded by Radvila, the town's former hetman (military commander).
