Jim Larkin Statue

The most dynamic statue along O'Connell St is that of trade-union leader Jim Larkin (1876–1947) by Oisin Kelly, just south of the General Post Office. Kelly captured him in the middle of one of his eloquent tirades in defence of working people, his arms spread wide. Needless to say, it is one of the most beloved of all Dublin statues.
