This popular Hindu temple is dedicated to the much-revered god Hanuman, sometimes referred to as the Monkey God. It throngs with devotees on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and is usually busy with visiting monkeys too, who hang around outside waiting to be fed. Unusually, the temple has a crescent moon (usually an Islamic symbol) fixed to its sikhara (spire).
