Kollwitzplatz

OK, so it's triangular, but Kollwitzplatz is still the prettiest square in Prenzlauer Berg. The leafy park in its center is tot heaven, with three playgrounds plus a bronze sculpture of the artist Käthe Kollwitz, who used to live nearby. Cafes and restaurants invite lingering, but for the full-on local vibe, swing by the farmers markets on Thursday and Saturday.
