Rixdorf

In the early 18th century, weavers from Bohemia first settled in Rixdorf, a tiny historic village centered on Richardplatz. Some of the old building still survive, including a blacksmith, a farmhouse and a 15th-century church, but in recent years this charming web of cobbled lanes has been captured by the hipster radar and now teems with creative spaces, cafes and bars.
