Finland's West Coast

Neristan was once the working-class quarter of Kokkola, home to sailors, fisherfolk and artisans. The narrow streets are lined with their colourful wooden cottages, which makes for a pleasant wander. Isokatu and Lätinen Kirkkokatu are the streets with the biggest collections of noteworthy homes. For a detailed walking tour, pick up the Neristan Tourist Guide from the tourist office.
