Plymouth Hoe

On a clifftop above the Plymouth Sound, this large park has views of the iconic red-and-white Smeaton's Tower lighthouse, built in 1759 and moved to its current location in the 1880s. The park's main feature is the vast Plymouth Naval Memorial, which commemorates sailors lost at sea in WWI and WWII.
