Church of the Assumption

Jelsa

Jelsa's parish church has an elegant baroque facade and a Renaissance bell tower, while inside there are ceiling frescos and an elaborate marble high altar. It's been tinkered with over the centuries, but a large part of the structure dates from 1535.
