Rigsum Lhakhang

Lhasa

One of four chapels surrounding the Jokhang at cardinal points, this recently renovated small chapel southwest of Barkhor Sq is dedicated to the Rigsum Gonpo trinity of Jampelyang, Chenresig and Chana Dorje (Vajrapani). Pilgrims head to the upper floor to receive a water blessing.
