A fine example of socialist realism sculpture, the Good Eighth Company Mural is in the plaza at People's Square metro exit near the underpass of the West Nanjing and Xizang Rds intersection. The long wall piece features stirring communist images including workers in the fields and rousing military images. There's also several sculptures here in a similar vein.
