Blomidon Estate Winery

This renowned winery is well worth a stop, particularly for its sparkling crémants and crisp Tidal Bay (a blend of local varieties that makes up an appellation specific to the region). The tasting bar is a real treat, and it also runs a stall at the Halifax Seaport Farmers Market on Saturday morning.

The estate is about 17km north of Wolfville, near the little town of Canning.
