This glorious red-brick 1885 mansion overlooks the river a short drive east of town. Wrapped in wrought-iron verandahs and glowing russet-red in the WA sun, Woodbridge became a school in 1895, then more formally Guildford Grammar School, before surviving demolition in the 1960s when the National Trust took control. There's a cafe on-site, open Thursday to Tuesday.
