IHCL's new immunity boosting menu is bringing healthy meals at home

With COVID 19 cases rising steadily across India, immunity and health have taken the center stage yet again. There is a renewed interest in nutrient-rich, wholesome, immunity-boosting food and home delivery is back to being the norm.

Catering to this new surge in demand IHCL’s home delivery service, Qmin, present across India, has recently introduced a specially immunity boosting menu, Innergise. The special menu features fresh and natural meals packed with antioxidants and immunity boosting superfoods, immunity boosting herbs and spices, and has been designed in consultation with experts from Arya Vaidya Sala - Kottakkal.

How does the menu and its ingredients help boost immunity?

The menu is made up of fresh, seasonal and immunity aiding ingredients sourced from trusted farms across the country. The typical Indian fruit, bael or wood apple, for instance, known for its bacteria and virus fighting properties, is the core ingredient for the detoxifying drink on the menu. The antipyretic giloy is also used in immunity boosting drinks on offer. Millets such as barnyard millet or Jhangora (one of the oldest super foods known to mankind) and finger millet or Ragi (a rich source of fiber, calcium and vitamin D) are the main ingredients. Humble everyday vegetables like raw banana, beetroot and raw papaya, widely used in the menu, are power-packed with nutrients and aid wellness. All of these ingredients are used in recipes that use simple cooking techniques like sautéing, steaming and grilling to ensure that the nutrient quotient remains intact.
