The Republic Day Parade is one of the biggest spectacles in India. The event that starts with the hoisting of the National Flag by the President of India early morning on the 26th of January, includes many cultural programs, colorful tableaux, gallantry and bravery awards. The parade that also takes place in all state capitals has come to define the national festival for us Indians.
