Mabry Mill

Blue Ridge Highlands & Southwest Virginia

One of the most photographed buildings in the state, the mill nests in such a gloriously green vale you'll think you've entered the opening chapter of a Tolkien novel. Edwin Mabry’s original sawmill and blacksmith shop still stand and sometimes host demonstrations of Appalachian and Blue Ridge crafts.
