The Union Square, Nob Hill, and Chinatown Tour explores 3 of San Francisco’s most central and historic neighborhoods in 3 ½  miles and 2 ½ hours. The hike starts right in Union Square, now famous for shopping, but once a gathering place for celebrating Union victories in the Civil War. From here, you’ll head uphill to take in the sights of Nob Hill—the Fairmont Hotel, The Pacific Union Club, Grace Cathedral, and the Cable Car Museum—learning about San Francisco before and after the Great Earthquake and Fire of 1906. You'll also visit the the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory to see fortune cookies being made before your very eyes. From Chinatown, you'll dip into North Beach to visit Jack Kerouac Alley and City Lights Bookstore, two reminders of the Beat Generation.
