Santa Rosa Wine Country Bike Tour

This Wine Country bike tour will introduce you to the beautiful Western Sonoma Region, beginning in Santa Rosa, continuing to charming Sebastopol and beyond. Meet at 10:30am at the designated meeting location in Santa Rosa and bike along the Joe Rodota bike trail to the Barlow, Sonoma County’s newest open air market center, hosting lots of fun activities. You'll taste wine at MacPhail and then explore the Barlow, where you can pick up a fresh and local lunch. Then cycle along the bike path and back roads to Taft Street Winery, famous for its garagiste wine. After lunch you will make your way to Fog Crest Vineyards to taste wine on the terrace and look out over the Santa Rosa Plain. From there it’s a quick ride to the Laguna Trail in Sebastopol to pick up the bike path, bringing the group back to the Santa Rosa location by about 4:00 pm. Santa Rosa Bike 'n' Brew

Your Sonoma County brewery tour starts in historic downtown Santa Rosa at 10:30am. After picking up your bike and helmet, your guide will provide a brief safety orientation so every rider feels ready to conquer the road, regardless of experience level. Following your guide, embark on an easy to moderate ride through Sonoma County’s scenic landscapes dominated by rolling hills, vineyards and quaint city streets filled with history.Visit Russian River Brewing Company, where you’ll sip on one of their signature specialties: a California- or Belgian-style ale or a barrel-aged beer. Hop back on your bike and head to nearby Sebastopol for a visit to HopMonk Tavern, housed in a historical building more than 100 years old. Enjoy the weather as you chat with your fellow travelers over a beer in the outdoor beer garden. If time allows, you’ll also visit Ale Works, which strikes a notable balance of traditional and experimental brewing styles. Savor your last beer here before enjoying a scenic ride back to your original departure point.

Tututepec (Mixtec Kingdom)

Welcome to an outdoor adventure in the heart of Mexico. After pick-up we will head North with a quick lunch stop in Santa Rosa, here you will have a chance to try a local specialty, an exotic beef broth soup of Oaxaca, and of course our authentic Mexican tacos! Then we head to the beautiful mountains of TUTUTEPEC to learn about the history of the Mixtec and Mexican civilization by exploring the murals that are scattered at the municipality building. After viewing the Mixtec Calendar, we will enter the YUKUTZA museum where we will learn the various ways of life of the ancient Mixtec civilization. The museum displays include: crafts, artifacts, and sculptures found in the surrounding areas of town. We will head to the town’s main church, which is over 400 years old, to learn about the culture and important celebrations of the area.  On our way back, we will make a quick stop at ROCA BLANCA beach to enjoy a delicious coco frio and take a refreshing dip in the pristine waters before returning to Puerto Escondido.

Sonoma Redwoods Hiking Tour

We meet in Santa Rosa at 10 AM and depart on a 30 minute drive through beautiful Sonoma Wine Country. During the drive our guide will discuss the hike and the local geography to give you a better idea of what makes this area so special. Drinks and snacks for your hike will be handed out and before you know it we will arrive at our hiking location. We will hike under and around the redwoods for approximately 2 hours and then return to Santa Rosa with plenty of time to for you explore more of Sonoma County with the helpful advice of our fantastic guides.

Sonoma Coast Kayak and Hiking Tour

We provide the transportation from our central meeting location in Santa Rosa, driving through the scenic Russian River Valley and down iconic Highway 1. Spend the morning strolling along the edge of the Sonoma Coast watching the crashing waves and then take a quick shuttle out to Jenner for lunch at our favorite riverside cafe before hopping in a kayak and exploring the amazing area where the River hits the Coast. Keep your eyes open for seals, osprey, pelicans, and river otters all while you paddle the gentle waters of Jenner. Walk the beach and watch crashing waves in one of Sonoma County's most beautiful settings. While on the beach look for the rare treat of a migrating whale spout or some of our resident bald eagles.
