Museum of Old Taiwan Tiles

Chiayi

An old timber house is the lovely setting for this museum that throws light on the history and preservation of Taiwan's old tiles. The gorgeous patterns are turned into objects that make wonderful souvenirs, like stickers, coasters, fridge magnets and shopping bags. Children can also learn to paint their own tiles. The entrance fee is deducted from spending you make here.

The museum is 800m from Chiayi Train Station.
