A noble Renaissance palace, the Palacio de Viana is a particular delight in spring when its 12 plant-filled patios are awash with color. The much-modified 14th-century mansion was home to the aristocratic Marqueses de Viana until 1980, and its stately rooms are crammed with art and antiques. Visits to the palace are by guided tour only, but you're free to explore the pretty courtyards on your own.
The palacio is 800m northeast of Plaza de las Tendillas.
