Bologa Fortress

Transylvania

A stocky, 14th-century watchtower is the most prominent feature of this once-great fortress, south of Bologa village. It's a pleasant uphill walk to the ruin. Watch your step if you walk inside the complex as it's unmaintained and overgrown.
