Popular, professional West Tours organizes a mind-boggling array of trips throughout the Westfjords, including tours of Vigur island, hiking in Hornstrandir Nature Reserve and kayaking trips, plus cycling, horse riding, boat and angling tours, birdwatching and cultural excursions. Kids are generally half-price.
Housed in the same building as the tourist information center, the company also runs ferries to Hornstrandir and rents bicycles for local exploring.
