Volos Museum of the City

This smart modern museum, in a former tobacco warehouse in the Palaia district, tells the story of Volos through beautiful black-and-white photos from the 1800s to the present day. One riveting section covers the population exchange in 1923 between Greece and Turkey. There’s a swanky on-site cafe.
