This engaging museum keeps the traditional art of Sri Lankan puppetry alive, with dozens of colorful traditional puppets displayed in atmospheric dioramas (check out the errant Buddhist monk being dragged to hell). With advance notice, performances can be arranged for groups. The museum is about 200m east of Galle Rd, midway between Wellawatta and Mt Lavinia.
