Zoom to the 48th-floor terrace of Torre Colpatria Mirador (6pm-8:30pm Fri, noon-8:30pm Sat, 11am-8:30pm Sun; COP$25,000) – steps from Museo de Arte Moderno de Bogotá – for 360-degree views of Bogotá. Windows placed around the gated outdoor deck frame the bullring below Torres del Parque, buzzy La Séptima (particularly fun to see during Sunday's Ciclovía), Cerro de Monserrate and more – a perfect panorama to admire the city's sprawl.
The 162m-high skyscraper, completed in 1979, was Colombia's tallest building until 2016 – when BD Bacatá (the unmissable glass-stepped skyscraper rising south of Torre Colpatria) shot 216m into the air.
Buy a ticket at the base and take an elevator to the 46th floor. You have to walk up the last two levels.
