Tøjhusmuseet

The Royal Arsenal Museum has a fearsome collection of canons and medieval armor to pistols, swords and even a WWII flying bomb. Even if you're no weapon-phile, you'll find this museum absorbing, with the recreation of a Danish base in Afghanistan and the chance to climb into a PMV hit by a roadside bomb while you hear the choppers above you, plus uniforms for kids to play dress up. Built by Christian IV in 1600, the 163m-long building is Europe’s longest vaulted Renaissance hall.
