This is a lovely, tranquil spot for a coffee, hot chocolate or pastry, with sun-shaded tables in the garden of a grand belle-époque greenhouse, built in 1894 to house the palms used in Biennale events, and which quickly became a social hub and a center for propagation: many plants grown here adorned the municipal flowerbeds of the Lido and the ballrooms of aristocratic palazzi (mansions), and you can still browse the lush garden center.
